Spyder LensCal
Camera shake, too slow of a shutter speed and subject movement are common reasons for poor camera focus. Another is auto-focus calibration error. DSLRs utilize a separate focus system that can be adjusted to maximize performance in most mid to high-end cameras. Because each lens will perform differently on different camera bodies, making adjustments by calibrating the lens to the camera using Spyder LensCal improves focus accuracy.
- Get the Most from Your Camera Equipment – Your camera and equipment are investments whether you’re a professional or hobbyist. Spyder LensCal helps you optimize your equipment performance for optimal focus performance.
- Optimize Your DSLR’s Auto-Focus – Higher resolution sensors mean that camera technique and auto focus performance are especially important. Spyder LensCal is a useful target tool that helps ensure your camera and lenses are functioning together optimally. Adjustments are made to the camera so any lens attached will be supported.
- An Essential Photo Tool – Spyder LensCal is designed to provide photographers with a fast, portable, and easy-to-use target to ensure cameras and lenses are working together optimally.
- Convenient Design – Compact, lightweight, and durable with an integrated level and tripod mount, the whole unit folds up flat for easy storage. The bubble level helps keep things square and the metal threaded hole allows for easy mounting on a small tripod or stand. Spyder Tripod or Spyder Tripod Pro are great complementary tools for Spyder LensCal.
- Accurate, Easy, Consistent – Spyder LensCal makes it quick and easy to calibrate your lenses to your camera (forget about manually printing out focus test charts from the web!). Once you have accurate lens calibration for each lens you own, you can achieve optimal sharpness performance each time you use them.
